When Barnes & Noble vacated the million plus population borough of the Bronx, one entrepreneur stepped up to the plate to keep education and books thriving in the Bronx. Enter, The Lit Bar bookshop, funded by part crowdsourcing, part grants from the New York Public Library and Citibank’s startup foundation.
