Ok, just Basil.

Delicious, fresh and totally growable right in your own kitchen window sill. The scent of basil, especially in a kitchen, is so bright and fresh! 

Tip:    

Trader Joe's always has great deals on little basil plants and other herbs too, like rosemary. All you need to do once it's home, is keep it watered, show it some sunshine and indulge in some of its clippings whenever you like. 

Recipes:   

  • Tomato + Mozzarella salad (Deliciously simple: just slice some T+M, sprinkle some fresh basil, drizzle a little olive oil and balsamic and finish with a pinch of sea salt) 
  • Pizza or pasta (pretty much any preparation of either dish can always use some fresh basil on top!) 
  • Mint, basil, cucumber infused seltzer
